<\/div><\/div>[vc_column_text]In the world of wastewater treatment, DAF<\/strong> water treatment systems are proving to be the most popular method for removing insoluble solids and clarifying the water. These DAF<\/strong> systems are very versatile in that they can be utilized in many different applications. Many different industries use this separation technology for clarification of wastewater. PEWE DAF<\/strong> water treatment systems are optimally designed to remove three main types of contaminants found in both industrial and municipal waste streams. These insoluble organic contaminants are total suspended solids (TSS), biochemical oxygen demand (BOD), and fats, oils, and greases (FOG). They can also be applied to inorganic constituent removal as well.<\/p>\n
PEWE<\/strong> Industrial clients utilize our DAF<\/strong> technology to remove TSS, BOD and FOG as a pretreatment step in order to meet permit discharge limits prior to discharge to a municipal POTW. How PEWE DAF Systems Work<\/h3>\n[\/vc_column_text]
<\/div><\/div>[vc_column_text]As the name suggests, PEWE DAF<\/strong> water treatment systems work by injecting dissolved air into a wastewater recycle stream. The notable distinction of this product is its reliability and efficacy. This is accomplished with minimal maintenance requirements, which sets PEWE<\/strong> apart from its competitors. PEWE DAF<\/strong> systems utilize the efficient Rogue regenerative turbine aeration pump<\/strong> to form 20-30 micron air bubbles. Compressed air is not necessary; Instead, the pump will aspirate and pressurize atmospheric air generating “whitewater” throughout the clarified wastewater in the DAF<\/strong>. This process generates energy saving results. No gas tank, no air compressor, no multi tube, and always fouled air octopus!<\/p>\n
The PEWE DAF<\/strong> aeration manifold ensures complete “whitewater” saturation of the entire wastewater stream. Micro-bubbles attach to the insoluble contaminants (TSS, BOD and FOG) in the wastewater and together they rise to the surface of the DAF<\/strong> and form a floating bed of material or sludge solids.
